Chocolate Cooky Dessert - Aunt Faith
Toast 1/2 c. pecans in 2 T. butter in iron skillet, low flame about 15 min. Salt. Cool.
2/3 cup milk
1 lb marshmellows
melt milk & marshmellows in double boiler, remove while there are some chunks left
add:
cooled toasted pecan meats
1 pt. whipped whipping cream
Line a pan (9 inch) with 1/2 of the crumbs from 1 pkg. (1 lb.) chocolate wafers(Salerno)
mixed with 4 T. melted butter.
Pour marshmellow mixture in pan & put rest of crumbs on top.
Place in refrigerator for at least 12 hrs.
